Information you give us

When you request a coverage review, we collect the answers and details you enter:

• ZIP code and the state it belongs to
• Your connection to military service and a branch, if you choose one
• What you want to protect and the coverage amount you’re considering
• Date of birth
• First and last name, phone number, and email address
• How you’d prefer to be contacted, and whether you checked the optional marketing text box

Information collected when you submit

With each request we record the time, the page address, your IP address, and your browser’s user agent, along with the exact consent wording shown to you. If the link you followed carried campaign tags (such as utm_source or an ad click ID), we keep those with your request so we know which ads lead to requests.

While you answer the questions, your answers are kept in your browser’s session storage so a refresh doesn’t lose your place. Your name, phone number, and email are never stored there, and the stored answers are cleared when you submit or close the tab.

This site does not ask for Social Security numbers, bank details, or medical records.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• Respond to your request and have a licensed insurance agent contact you
• Keep a record of the contact permissions you gave or declined, and of any opt-out
• Understand which advertising leads to requests
• Prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of this site
• Meet legal and regulatory obligations

How we share it

We share your request with the licensed insurance agent or agency that will handle it, and with service providers that host this site, store customer records, or send messages for us, only so they can do that work. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We share it only as described in this policy.

Calls, texts, and emails

Submitting a request asks us and a licensed agent to contact you about that request by phone, text, or email. Marketing text messages are sent only if you checked the separate optional box, and you can reply STOP to any text to opt out. You can also ask us at any time to stop calling or emailing you, and we will honor it.

How long we keep it

We keep request details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and records of consent and opt-outs for as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

Security

Requests are sent over an encrypted connection, and access to them is limited to the people and services that need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This site is meant for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

No government affiliation

Affordable Veterans Insurance Coverage is a private business. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, or any government agency.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with its effective date.
